Busy Week over Here!

Its been a full week of mason Jars, flowers, more mason jars and 90th Birthday celebrations! Looking forward to my time off in October.

First up was a 50th Anniversary,

Next was a Bridal Shower entitled "Belle of the Ball,"

Then a 90th Birthday celebration,

And lastly another 90th Birthday for Ms. Shirley! Here sister used to call her "Eeeeee,"

Had the nickname "Little Buttons."

Loved scrabble, dancing, singing, gardening, canning and trained pilots in the Navy division of the W.A.V.E.S! What a gal!! Happy Birthday Shirley!!

Who knew, when Gretchen over at Three Little Monkey's Studio hired me to do some little mason jars and flowers for her Grandmother's 90th Birthday, these would be such a hit??!! But I humbly accept any and all the compliments you all have given me! I have received so many inquires, I just can't complete them all.
One order I was able to do was for a lovely Retro 60th Birthday. Thank you so much for your order Elizabeth! These are always so much fun to do!

Milestone Birthday!

My Grandfather lived until he was 91. He was my only living Grandfather that I grew up with. He was my main man (besides my Dad that is) for a long time. The last few years I spent with him were some of the hardest yet I am grateful I was there with him and wouldn't change it for the world.

That is why, when I was asked by Gretchen over at Three Little Monkeys Studio to create cookies for her Grandmother's 90th Surprise Birthday (how fun is that?!)... I so wanted to do this. She told me her Gram was a avid canner and planted Zinnias all over her property. This sounded so beautiful to me. I also grew up eating my Noni's canned goods and pulling carrots from the garden, which my Pop washed under the hose and we devoured them immediately.

90 years is definitely something to celebrate!!! Here's to more and more healthy, happy years to come and many more memories to make! Happy Birthday!!!
